Would you be upset if the American President decided to take his vacation in France?

French President Sarkozy has been vacationing in the U.S., and this has caused some of his countrymen to be unhappy with him. Do you think they are justified? Would you be upset if our President decided to take his vacation in France?

I would not have a problem with the President vacationing in France or anywhere else. I do think, however, that it would be harder for the U.S. President to vacation in France than what it is for the French president to vacation in the U.S. The U.S. is so much a world power that every action of the President is scrutinized by not only the U.S. people but he people of the world. If the President was to decide to vacation in France then Germany might feel snubbed. That is not to mention the fact that it would be hard to convince foreign diplomates that he really was there for a vacation rather than being on a state visit.
