Where in the U.S. were you located? What did you do? About how much did it cost you? Everything you spent money on?

Driving up the east coast with my mom one summer. We started in Boston, drove up into New Hampshire, then into Maine, stoping to eat lobster by the ocean and looking at lighthouses. Then we drove back down to Rhode Island, went to Nantucket (because I’m obsessed with Nantucket Nectars), then into Newport to look at the mansions and out to Cape Cod.

We had to pay for the rental car — I don’t know how much that costs, but it’s pretty easy to find that out. We stayed in B&Bs that cost about $100/night. Food was maybe $50/day for both of us. I think there was a fee to go on the ferry to Nantucket, plus we took a tour. We also had to pay to tour the mansions in Newport. And we did some shopping in Maine.
